5Queso for St. Jude's

During this month, I have tried to slow down a bit on my freelance work.  The months of May and June, were really tough with building a website on top of working fulltime.  Although, I have slowed down, it doesnt mean I havent been designing.  I have finished the Chilis 5Queso logo, for a 5k benefitting St. Judes Childrens hospital.  The 5k will be over Labor Day weekend, if you are in Searcy, you should come out.  If you would like more information visit the Chilis Searcy 5Queso for St. Judes page on Facebook.

Anyways, here is the logo:

Along with a Flyer, I designed for the 5Queso:

I also just finished some Business Cards for Kayleigh Ross Photography.  I will post the art work soon.

Upcoming Projects:
Sassy Sweets Yearbook Ad
MicroWire Forms Website

Copyright, Part 2

Here's a link to an article about the issue that I like:  http://www.visualartcopyright.com/documents.html

Copyright

Copyright is very sensitive subject in the art community and it's something that I have strong feelings about.  I know I have had my work altered and changed without my permission and this is something that I have faced in the printing industry.  This is where moral integrity kicks in.  You wouldn't go to a museum with a paint brush and paint over a Picasso or a Monet.  So for all you designers or wanna be "designers" out there, be careful who's work you alter or take.  They might not be Monet, but it's equally as wrong.  This goes for several other industries as well, like writing.

Also taking someone's work and calling it your own is stealing.

That's my rant for today.  Here is some stuff that I am working on now.

Here is my latest attempt at a Logo for the Chili's 5Queso.

Not done yet... but I think it's a good start!

Let me know what you think!
